If you also want to register in PM Kisan scheme, then now it is necessary for you to have a ration card, that is, you cannot register in this scheme without a ration card. The central government has taken this step to check the rapidly increasing fraud in PM Kisan scheme.

Ration card will be necessary for new registration
Now without the ration card, you will not be able to get the benefit of 2000 rupees. Now, whoever makes a new registration in this scheme, it will be necessary to give the number of the ration card. Let us tell you that under this scheme, the government gives financial assistance of Rs 6000 annually to the farmers.

Crores of farmers are taking advantage of this scheme
So far 9 installments of PM Kisan Scheme have been released and the government will soon transfer the 10th installment (Pm Kisan Scheme 10th installment) to the farmers’ account. Let us tell you that till now 11.37 crore farmers have got the benefit of this scheme. The government has transferred Rs 1.58 lakh crore under this scheme.

Documents to be uploaded as PDF
If you register for the first time under PM Kisan Yojana, then you will have to upload the ration card number. Along with this, you will also have to upload its PDF. The central government has now completely abolished the requirement of hardcopy of Khatauni, Aadhar card, bank passbook and declaration form. That is, now you have to upload your documents as PDF instead of hardcopy. With this step of the central government, not only will the fraud be stopped, along with this the process of registration will also become very easy.

Who can apply for the scheme?
Let us tell you that to take advantage of this scheme, your age should be between 18 to 40 years. Apart from this, it is also necessary to have 2 hectares of cultivable land, farmers who do not have cultivable land cannot take advantage of this scheme.

Scheme started in 2019
The Modi government started PM kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna on 24 February 2019. Under this scheme, the government gives Rs 6000 every year to small farmers in three installments. The first installment comes between December 1 and March 31. The second installment is directly transferred from 1st April to 31st July and the third installment from 1st August to 30th November in the account of farmers.

10th installment will be released soon
The money of the tenth installment of PM Kisan Scheme will soon be transferred to the farmers’ account. By the month of December, the government can put the money of this installment in the accounts of crores of farmers. The central government is planning to release the 10th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana by 15 December 2021.
