Ben Stokes Joins England Team for Ashes Series: England Cricket Team’s star all-rounder Ben Stokes joined the England team for the first training session after a six-month break at the Metrico Stadium in Gold Coast, Queensland on Thursday. Stokes is joined by senior players like skipper Joe Root and Stuart Broad for a full training session. Let us tell you that these players have reached Australia early to prepare for the Ashes.

Let us inform that Stokes took a break from cricket to recover from mental health problems and finger injury, after which this all-rounder was included in the team late. England’s team suffered a defeat against New Zealand in the ICC T20 World Cup semi-final on Wednesday, after which the rest of the players selected for the Ashes will join the team. Players like Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow, David Malan, Chris Woakes and Mark Wood will travel directly to Australia from Dubai.

Ben Stokes made his international debut for England in August 2011. He has played 71 Tests, 101 ODIs and 34 T20 Internationals for England so far. He has 4631 runs and 163 wickets in Tests, 2871 runs and 74 wickets in ODIs and 442 runs and 19 wickets in T20 Internationals.
