BCCI Tweet for Virat: After #shameonbcci trended on Twitter, BCCI finally Virat Kohli (Virat Kohli) Have made a tweet saying thank you. 24 hours after Virat’s removal as captain from ODI cricket, BCCI tweeted “Thank You Captain”. The tweet read, “Thank you Captain, a leader who has led his team with grit, zeal and determination.”

Earlier, Virat Kohli was removed from the captaincy of One Day cricket and Rohit Sharma was given the responsibility. Virat Kohli has captained Team India in 95 ODIs, out of which India has won 65 matches. If we look at the records of victory under the leadership of Virat Kohli, then during his captaincy, India’s winning percentage has been 70.43 percent. Under Kohli’s captaincy, the Indian team has been invincible in 15 out of 19 by-lateral series.

Before the T20 World Cup, Virat Kohli had decided to retire from the captaincy of this format. On Wednesday, the BCCI also removed Virat from the captaincy of One Day. Immediately after this, Virat’s fans got very angry. The #shameonbcci hashtag started trending on Twitter from today. There was no response from the BCCI till now regarding Virat.
