Fire breaks out at firecracker factory in Madurai, 5 dead, 10 critical

Madurai | Firecracker Factory Fire: A painful accident has happened in Madurai district of Tamil Nadu. Five people have died and 10 people have been injured in a massive fire in a firecracker factory here. After the information about the fire in the factory, there was a stir in the area. Police and fire brigade vehicles reached the information and tried to douse the fire but by then it was too late.

fire broke out with a loud bang
According to the police, the incident took place near Usilambatti in Madurai district. A massive explosion followed the factory fire. Due to which many people got caught in the fire. Police with the help of local people pulled out the people trapped under the rubble and took them to the hospital. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

There was a stir in the area after hearing the explosion
During the fire in the factory, there was a loud explosion, whose echo was heard far and wide, there was a stir among the people of the area. When people ran towards the scene of the incident, the sight there was very scary. The fire was immediately reported to the police.

The condition of the injured is also critical
Firecracker Factory Fire: While confirming the death of 5 people, Madurai SP said that the dead have been identified. Whereas, the injured are being treated in the hospital. The condition of 10 people who were injured in the incident is also critical. Police are working to find out the cause of the accident.
