Cricket Australia announced the team for the World Cup, in the hands of Aaron Finch

T20 World Cup: Cricket Australia has announced its team for the T20 World Cup to be held in UAE. The Australian team will take part in the T20 World Cup under the leadership of Aaron Finch. Along with this, big faces like Smith, Warner, Cummins, Maxwell and Stoinis have returned in the tee.

Smith and Finch being fit is a big relief for the Australian team. Smith had to miss the tour of West Indies and Bangladesh due to an elbow injury. Not only this, there were speculations that Steve Smith might be out of the T20 World Cup in view of the Ashes series. But now with the return of Smith, all questions are over.

The Australian team led by Finch reached the West Indies tour. But during the T20 series, Finch injured his knee and was out of the ODI series and Bangladesh tour. Aaron Finch is now fully fit and he has been given the command of the team once again.

Big players like Maxwell, Cummins, Stoinis and Warner had kept themselves out of the West Indies and Bangladesh tour citing the bio bubble. These four players have been given a place in the team for the T20 World Cup. Pat Cummins has also been made the vice-captain of the team.
