Earthquake in Punjab, Earth shook in the early hours today, felt 4.1 magnitude tremors
Chandigarh | Earthquake in Punjab: The continuous earthquake in India for the last three-four days has created panic among the people. In the early hours of Monday too, strong tremors of earthquake stoked people in Punjab’s Amritsar, 145 km west-northwest. Today morning at around 3.42 am, people were woken up by the strong tremors of the earthquake in Amritsar and people were forced to come out of their homes in the cold.
Earthquake in Punjab: According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 struck Amritsar district of Punjab in the early hours of today. The depth of the earthquake was 120 km below the ground. Significantly, on November 12 also, earthquake tremors were felt in many districts of Punjab. The magnitude of the earthquake, which occurred around 8:15 pm, was measured at 5.4.

Earthquake coming continuously for four-five days
Let us tell you that the tremors of earthquake are being felt continuously in North India for the last four-five days. In these days, the land of Delhi, UP, Uttarakhand, Himachal and Punjab has also been shaken by earthquake tremors.

Keep these things in mind if an earthquake occurs
If you feel the tremors of an earthquake, move to a safe place.
There is a risk of collapse of buildings and houses due to earthquake. In such a situation, get out of them and go out in the open.
If you are inside the house, lean on the ground during an earthquake.
Sit under a sturdy table or any part of the furniture in the house.
During an earthquake, stay away from glass, windows, doors and walls. Keep your distance from falling objects.
– If outside the house, stay away from buildings, trees, street lights and electricity/telephone poles.
If you are in an open place, then stop at one place in case of earthquake.
