Three big officers accused in Patiala violence, transfer of IG Rakesh Agarwal, command to Mukhwinder Chhina
Chandigarh | Patiala Violence: The blame of the violence that took place on Friday in Patiala city of Punjab has fallen on three top police officers. Extremely annoyed by the violence, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had called a high level meeting, terming this incident of violence as unfortunate. In which CM Mann had given instructions to investigate the matter immediately and gave strict instructions to the officials that no guilty should be spared.

IG Rakesh Agarwal removed
The blame for this violence in Punjab fell on three officers including Patiala IG Rakesh Agarwal. While transferring IG Rakesh Agarwal, Mukhwinder Singh Chhina has been made the new IG in his place. While the Deputy SP and SHO have been transferred. In his place, Deepak Parek has been made the new SSP and Wazir Singh has been made the new SP.

Many injured in fencing and stone pelting
Patiala Violence: Let us tell you that on Friday, many people were injured in fencing and stone pelting in a fierce clash between two groups regarding the anti-Khalistan march outside the Kali Mata temple in Patiala. Due to which tension spread in the area and the police had to impose curfew for the whole night. The police arrested Shiv Sena leader Harish Singla today after taking him into custody in this case. At the same time, Hindu organizations have announced Patiala Bandh today. After which Section 144 has been imposed in many districts and mobile-internet services have been stopped till 6 pm.
