Many areas submerged due to heavy rain in Bangalore, trees fell, one person died, then alert issued

Bangalore | Heavy Rain in Bangalore: In most states of the country, where the scorching heat has made life miserable for the people, in Karnataka, heavy rains have caused havoc. Heavy rains lashed many parts of the state on Thursday. Due to which people got relief from the heat but the scenes of devastation also came to the fore. Many areas were submerged due to heavy rains. Trees fell at many places. At the same time, one person also died due to electrocution during rain. Let us tell you that in many states including Rajasthan in the country, the weather has taken a turn, due to which there is heavy rain and thunderstorms.

Heavy rain expected for next two days
Heavy Rain in Bangalore: The heavy rain in Karnataka on Thursday is going to last for two more days. The Meteorological Department has predicted more rain in the state for the next two days. Due to the rains, many areas in the capital Bengaluru were flooded. It rained heavily for two and a half hours in Bengaluru last night i.e. from around 8 am to 10.30 pm. Due to which the lower areas of the city, Kathariguppe, Banashankari and JP Nagar were waterlogged. Trees and poles fell at many places. During this, a fruit vendor also died due to current. She was a resident of Mangamanpally. He got electrocuted due to clinging to an open wire hanging from an electric pole.

civic body and fire department alert
Bengaluru’s civic body and fire department have come on alert mode after the Meteorological Department’s warning of heavy rain for two-three days. These departments have started emergency operations in waterlogged areas due to rain in Bengaluru.
