In such a situation, once again the news of split in the SP family is coming to the fore. Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Shivpal Singh Yadav made a big statement on Saturday, saying that he was not invited to the important meeting of the party’s legislature party. Let us inform that in the SP meeting, Akhilesh Yadav was unanimously elected the leader of the SP’s legislature party. In such a situation, Shivpal not being called after the election once again indicates a split.

I don’t know about the meeting, haven’t even called

Akhilesh Shivpal UP SP : Akhilesh Yadav’s uncle Shivpal while talking to reporters said that I have no information about the meeting. I tried to contact the SP leaders but I have not got any information about it. On the other hand, SP MLA from Jaswant Nagar seat Shivpal said that I have always said that whatever responsibility will be given to me, I will work according to it, but I was not called for the meeting of the legislature party, although I am an MLA of SP.

The election was fought on the symbol of SP

Akhilesh Shivpal UP SP : Let us tell you that Shivpal had contested the election on the election symbol of SP. Shivpal had formed his own party Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) before the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Shivpal, the younger brother of SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav, said he had contested the election on the symbol of ‘cycle’ and even campaigned for the party in Karhal and several other places. Despite this, he did not know why he was not informed about the meeting of the SP legislature party, he said.
