Apart from this, in the year 2019, a match between the two teams in the ODI World Cup was inconclusive, while India was defeated by 18 runs in the semi-finals of the 2019 ODI World Cup. New Zealand team defeated India in the final of the World Test Championship held in the same year.

Weaknesses and strengths of both teams
Indian team has great batsmen like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul. Apart from this, there are experienced bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who can change the course of the match. On the other hand, there are senior batsmen like Kane Williamson, Martin Guptill in New Zealand’s team. Talking about the bowling, apart from Trent Boult, Tim Southee, the trio of spinner Ish Sodhi can create trouble for the Indian batsmen.
