Web series on Gandhi: Pratik Gandhi will soon be seen on screen as Mahama Gandhi, the story of the web series is based on the books of historian Ramchandra Guha
The series will be produced globally for a worldwide audience and will be shot in multiple Indian and international locations.
Applause Entertainment has announced to make a series focusing on Mahatma Gandhi. It is an ambitious project of Applos Entertainment. This will include the time period of Mahatma Gandhi and India’s independence. For this the rights of two most critical books on ‘Gandhi’ written by the famous historian Ramachandra Guha have been acquired. While Prateek Gandhi has been cast for the role of Mahatma Gandhi.
Every Indian or rather the whole world knows that Gandhi was full of truth, love, non-violence and will. He was a great leader and a symbol of peace. The Mahatma changed the course of Indian history with his extraordinary works and influenced many leaders across the world. Applause Entertainment of Aditya Birla Group has announced a biopic on the life of Gandhi to bring to life the story of Indian independence from the perspective of our great freedom fighters. The series will be based on two books by renowned historian and author Ramachandra Guha, Gandhi Before India and Gandhi – The Years That Changed the World. The series will be produced globally for a worldwide audience and will be shot in multiple Indian and international locations.
The series will tell lesser-known stories from life, from Gandhi’s early days and his work in South Africa to the Indian struggle. The situation that played a vital role in making young Gandhi a Mahatma will also be covered and the story of contemporary, incredible personalities of the freedom movement will also be seen.
