PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of several projects here and dedicate 7 cancer hospitals to the name of the nation. Apart from this, the PM will address a rally in Diphu here and attend a public function in Dibrugarh.

Holiday declared in two districts of Assam
PM Modi will reach Dimapur airport in Nagaland on Thursday. From here you will leave for Karbi Anglong district of Assam by helicopter. Tight security arrangements have been made in Assam due to PM Modi’s visit. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma himself has inspected the security arrangements. CM Sarma has declared holiday for schools, colleges and state government offices in Dibrugarh and Karbi Anglong districts.

Cancer hospital will be dedicated to the nation
PM Modi Assam Visit: During his visit, PM Modi will dedicate 6 cancer hospitals in Assam to the nation on Thursday and lay the foundation stone for 7 new cancer hospitals. According to the information, a total of 17 cancer hospitals are being constructed in the state by the Assam Care Foundation under the joint aegis of the government and Tata Trusts.
