Women will soon get one thousand rupees a month, Bhagwant Mann government will fulfill its promise

Chandigarh, April 28: During the Punjab Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party had promised to give one thousand rupees every month to women above 18 years of age if the government is formed. Bhagwant Mann’s Punjab government can fulfill this promise soon. Punjab’s Women and Child Welfare Minister Dr Baljit Kaur has claimed that her government is trying to fulfill this promise.

Baljit Kaur said, ‘Our effort is to improve the condition of women in the state. We are trying to fulfill our promise. Soon this promise will be fulfilled. We will give one thousand rupees a month to every woman above 18 years of our second guarantee.

Baljit Kaur has also given information about more efforts being made to improve the condition of women. He said, ‘The state government is going to add more stringent arrangements in the Women’s Protection Act. This will increase the rights related to women.

Let us tell you that questions are being raised by the Congress party on the Punjab government regarding the promises made during the assembly elections. Even during the elections, when the Aam Aadmi Party had promised women one thousand rupees a month, the Congress had asked from where the money would come to fulfill this guarantee.

However, Bhagwant Mann is claiming that he will soon fulfill every promise made during the assembly elections. Bhagwant Mann’s government is also going to provide 300 units of electricity free of cost every month in the state from July 1.
