Will there be any wisdom in the contemplation camp?

Congress party’s Chintan Shivir is to be held in Udaipur, Rajasthan from May 13 to 15. If the Congress leaders collectively have some sense, then they will again consider the presentation given by Prashant Kishor. Will put their proposals on the big forum of Congress and will take the opinion of common Congress leaders independently. Leaving a dozen leaders sitting in Delhi and doing Ganesh parikrama of the Congress leadership, the Congress should put their proposal in front of four hundred leaders and take their unbiased opinion.

Keep in mind that the fate of the Congress is not going to change with the Chintan Shivir. If Congress leaders are in the hope that people suffering from inflation, unemployment etc. will automatically leave BJP and choose Congress, then they are in big misunderstanding. Where people are running away from the BJP, except in a few states, other parties are becoming alternatives for exceptions. Regional parties are becoming an alternative to Congress or Aam Aadmi Party is taking its place. If Congress doesn’t do something so that the focus is on it and politics is on its agenda, then it will be completely marginalised. The minority vote with which the Congress refers to 11 crore votes will also leave. Keep in mind that once the Muslim voters of the country got an option, they never voted for Congress again. From Andhra Pradesh to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi everywhere it has happened here.

So, there is no option before the Congress at this time. He doesn’t have the luxury of doing politics like this or that. He has to save his existence and this is possible only when he becomes the center of politics. When politics is on his agenda. He can also assure the opposition parties and voters that he is an alternative to the BJP. Prashant Kishor’s biggest strength is that he creates the message and is able to deliver it to the target group. He is the message itself and also the messenger. In Bihar, Prashant Kishor gave the message ‘Bihar mein bahar hai Nitishe Kumar hai’. His message of ‘Lage Rahe Kejriwal’ in Delhi and ‘Khela Hobe’ in West Bengal reached the very bottom and was successful. Some selected Congress leaders are not understanding this, but the common Congressmen and Congress leaders in the states are understanding the power of Prashant. For a week, when there was talk of PK joining the Congress, then the morale of the common Congressman had increased. He understood that the Congress leadership was doing something. Therefore, Congress should hold a public discussion on Prashant Kishor’s proposal in the Chintan Shivir.

Congress leaders campaigned to downplay Prashant that the parties he worked with had pre-win conditions. Even if this is true, then it is no less a big deal that they choose the winner every time? It is possible that the circumstances of the Congress are also being created and that is why they are choosing the Congress? But this is incomplete propaganda. Things were not favorable for anyone. In Bihar, all three RJD, JDU and Congress were badly defeated when PK took over. In West Bengal, in 2019, the BJP had contested the 2021 assembly elections by winning 38 percent of the votes and 18 Lok Sabha seats. For the first time in Tamil Nadu, the DMK had lost two consecutive elections. Even after ruling for 10 consecutive years, the Anna DMK-led alliance won 75 seats in 2021. Do you know if PK had not been there, DMK would have lost for the third time! So, it is very easy to say that the conditions were favourable, so PK succeeded. If so, then Congress should show it successfully. Right now the situation is very favorable, then why is Congress not winning? Keep in mind that after the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, elections have been held in 17 states in the last three years and the Congress has lost everywhere. If its seats increased in Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, it increased not because of itself but because of alliance partners. So Congress should think, think and take a logical decision. Only then will it be able to stand in comparison to 2024.
