Will Nitish not give ticket to RCP?
It is a question of lakhs that will Nitish Kumar really not give Rajya Sabha ticket to his party’s number two leader and Union Minister RCP Singh? The politics of Bihar has boiled over speculation that RCP might not get a ticket this time. Think, what if this happened? If Nitish Kumar does not give a Rajya Sabha ticket to RCP for the third time, then it will be the biggest sign of changing the equation of power in Bihar. Then it will be decided that the government of JDU and BJP is not going to work. Then the RCP will have to resign from the Union Cabinet and then it will be interesting to see whether they damage JDU, help the BJP or sit quietly in the party waiting for their time to come.
Keep in mind that the distance between Nitish and RCP has increased for the last two years. Former IAS officer RCP Singh has become closer to the BJP and it is also being said that Nitish was not ready for the party to join the central government by taking a ministerial post. But due to the insistence of RCP, he had to agree. It is also being said that he is also behind the breakup of JDU in the Northeast. Nitish had kept him away even in ticket distribution in the last assembly elections and did not give tickets to his close ones. For the last few days, it was reported that with the help of RCP Singh, BJP is in the process of forming its government by breaking JDU in Bihar. So, already Nitish Kumar is preparing to play his bet. It is being told that they are weakening RCP and preparing to take RJD along. By giving ticket to Anil Hegde, the old leader of JDU in the Rajya Sabha by-elections, he has indicated that he is returning to the old socialist politics.
