In view of the elections in Uttar Pradesh, the political stir has intensified. CM Yogi Adityanath is busy campaigning loudly. Let us tell you that Yogi’s father Anand Singh Bisht passed away last year during the Corona period itself. But the CM did not go to his father’s funeral. He had also written a letter to his family and told the reason for this. Now in an interview given to Times Now Navbharat, Yogi Adityanath was questioned about not attending the funeral of his father, then he himself explained the reason for it.

Sushant Sinha asked Yogi Adityanath, ‘Yogi ji, we have also seen one side of you, the emotional one, when you cried in Parliament, you will remember that. No one forgets that picture. You are emotional from inside, this country knows. Your father passed away, you continued to work… even then questions were raised on you that what kind of son is he, did not go to the funeral. Today you are being questioned about family. Do these things hurt you inside?

To this Yogi Adityanath replied saying that look, we have come in public life, we should not take such light statements very seriously. If I am in public life then nation is paramount for me. Corona management was a part of the country’s mission and the battle of Corona was the country’s fight. It is important for any son at that time whether he has to follow the national dharma or to follow the son dharma.

When the country is fighting a battle with Corona, I felt that even if I participate in the funeral program of my revered father, it will not bring him back. But if I stay in Lucknow and join this program for Corona management, then I can be helpful in saving thousands of lives of Uttar Pradesh. So I have followed that national religion. He has contributed to strengthen the country’s fight against Corona. That was also my responsibility because that is why the party and the state have elected me and sent me.

There was a heartfelt desire to have his darshan in the last moments, but I could not due to the duty of taking forward the country’s fight against the global pandemic Corona virus in the interest of 23 crore people of Uttar Pradesh.

Tomorrow on April 21, I am unable to participate in the funeral program due to the success of the lockdown and the strategy to defeat the epidemic corona. Paying my humble tributes to the revered father’s memory. I will come for darshan after the lockdown.
