What The Duck: There is a good bonding between former Indian opening partner Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar. Sehwag has great respect for Sachin Tendulkar and fondly calls him ‘God’ like millions of Indians.

Before retirement, both the cricketers were known to destroy the bowling attack of the opposing team. While Veeru used to bat in an aggressive manner, Sachin’s style of playing was slightly different. Some time ago Sehwag had reached a YouTube show, where he revealed many interesting things. In a talk show called ‘What the Duck’ with Vikram Sathaye, Sehwag revealed how his singing once made Sachin angry when the two were batting together.

Sehwag told Sathaye on ‘What the Duck’, “Once Sachin paaji and I were batting together against South Africa in 2011. I started humming a song to increase my focus. I gave a good start. We continued humming the song in the first over. From the other end, Paaji (Sachin) came and we met in the middle of the pitch and touched each other’s gloves. He said something but I kept on humming the song.

Viru further said that it continued for 4-5 overs. He would say something and I would just shake my head and keep on humming the song. After that, he came to me and said talk to me..but still I kept on humming the song. After a few overs, he told me not to be selfish, talk to me. So I finally said that I am in a good rhythm, so let me be in that rhythm. I am singing a song, I am playing well, the partnership is good. But..he said still talk a little.. I said yes but I failed to do so, after that he scolded me a lot.
