Corona New Guidelines In India: Recently, in view of the seriousness of the new variant Omicron of Kovid, the Union Health Ministry has decided to amend its guidelines for the arrival of people from abroad in India and implement it from December 1. As per the revised guidelines, foreign travelers entering India will have to submit their travel details for 14 days as well as upload their own negative RT-PCR test report on the Air Suvidha portal before travelling.

According to the new guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health, passengers from countries at high risk of corona and new variants of corona should get Kovid test done at the airport itself after arrival in the country and waiting for the results of the test. will need to do. If the passenger’s COVID test is negative, they will be kept in quarantine for 7 days and after that they will be tested for COVID again on the 8th day.

Apart from this, foreign travelers who have tested positive will be kept in isolation with immediate effect and their positive test samples will be sent to INSACOG, an institute under the Indian Ministry of Health, to detect the new variant of corona in it, Omicron. Apart from this, people who have recently come in contact with patients who have tested positive will be kept in institutional or home quarantine.

In view of the newly issued guidelines, the government has also released a list of 12 countries from where it will be mandatory for travelers to follow testing and other guidelines after coming to India, especially in these countries, United Kingdom, South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Mauritius, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Singapore, Hong Kong and Israel. The main reason for issuing special instructions to these countries is being told here that there is an increased risk of new variants of Corona.
