Mamata Banerjee is in shock. Arvind Kejriwal will also be upset. We have been to jail many times. But first the sword hanging on Satyendra Jain and now Manish Sisodia must have shook Kejriwal in his mind. Questions have been raised in the public on the honesty of both Mamta and Kejriwal. Mamata Banerjee’s crisis is big because the photos and videos of crores of cash found in the raid at the house of Arpita Mukherjee, a close aide of Partha Chatterjee in the number two position in the government, cannot be forgotten by the genteel and poor people of Bengal. Seeing Mamta Banerjee herself a pile of cash, the snake must have smelled. He kept silent in shock and finally removed Partha Chatterjee.

In what I have understood about the effect of Kejriwal, I believe that personally he is not of money-hungry tendency. And that’s where the capital of the future is. This is my opinion about Mamata Banerjee. Therefore, both were likely to challenge Narendra Modi in future.
Both have been punctured by the Modi government and his ED. Both will be further blamed. Not only Manish Sisodia, but his Delhi, Punjab ministers would be being monitored from moment to moment. Because the ED has now got full exemption from the Supreme Court, in the Lok Sabha elections of 2024, wherever the election challenge to Narendra Modi would have been raided, it would have to be raided. India will be the land of ED raids for the next one and a half years and be it Stalin or KCR or Kumaraswamy, leaders of Left Front of Kerala, ministers of Punjab, people of Hemant Soren government or Congress leaders and chief ministers will all be in the flood of raids. The Supreme Court has given license to the ED to act as a political Brahmastra for the Modi government.

Such an existential crisis will not happen on Mamata Banerjee till 2024. The possibility of defecting in large numbers of their MLAs or making them sit at home like Uddhav Thackeray, eliminating the Trinamool Congress, seems unlikely at the moment. But yes, Mamta and her MLAs are now in shambles. In an assembly election like Tripura, Mamata’s motive will not be to win the election, but to cut the votes of the Congress-Left Front (if formed).
The real question is whether Mamta and Kejriwal will not have surrendered to the politics of Modi-Shah to save the government, as Mayawati’s role was assumed in UP? The core focus of the BJP strategy for the year 2024 is that the leaders of all the opposition parties should be trapped in such a way that they neither have the courage to contest the elections nor the idea of a common front or a common strategy. Think, in the ED’s attack on Mamta and Satyendar Jain, Manish or Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, did the opposition hear anything like helping, supporting each other? Even in the media, no one was found writing in sympathy and support, except our Dr. Vedpratap Vaidik on Manish Sisodia!
