What happened to Aparna and Aditi

It is rightly said that in today’s BJP, if someone’s name was discussed more, then it was considered to be cut off. Earlier, if there was talk of a BJP leader becoming a minister or getting a ticket or getting any other post, then the discussions usually turned out to be correct. But if there is a discussion these days, then it is sure to be proved wrong. Many a times it seems that the top leadership of BJP whose name has to be cut is being discussed and then the journalists who run the discussion are proved wrong. Like this time about the formation of Uttar Pradesh government. The oath of the government stayed for 15 days and in the meantime dozens of names kept running. In the end all the names were dropped.

There was talk of making Mulayam Singh’s daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav as a minister. Similarly, the name of Aditi Singh, who left the Congress and joined the BJP, was also in the news. But neither of them got a chance. There are 10 percent ie five women ministers in the government with 52 ministers, but both of them remained. Similarly, Rajeshwar Singh, a high profile officer in the ED, was also believed to be a minister. But he also got a chance to sit in the audience at the swearing-in ceremony. Although about 10 ministerial posts have been kept vacant, but there will be no reshuffle in the government for the next several months. Those who have become, those who have become others will have to wait a long time.
