Welcoming the Chief Minister with the Airsa dish

Raipur. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel reached Jewartala village of Gundardehi Assembly Constituency today for a meet-and-greet program. After weighing Chhattisgarhia Chief Minister (Chattisgrah CM) with Airsa dish in Jewartala, villagers gave him a warm welcome. The villagers thanked the Chief Minister for promoting Chhattisgarhi culture and traditional cuisine. Overwhelmed by this gesture of the villagers, the Chief Minister thanked them for their affection. Airsa dish made from the combination of jaggery and rice flour holds a special place in the cuisine of Chhattisgarh. Airsa dish is specially eaten in the Teej festivals of Chhattisgarh.

how to make irsa dish

First the rice is washed and dried overnight. Dried rice is traditionally ground into Dheki. The Ayersa dish is then prepared by mixing this rice flour in jaggery syrup and frying it with oil in a pan.
