There was a claim that the woman with whom Rahul Gandhi is seen in the party is How Yankee, the Chinese ambassador to Nepal. Many people also shared this video of Rahul Gandhi on various social media platforms. This type of claim got more wind because of how Yankee is known for its anti-India stance. This is the reason why many people on social media were seen expressing concern that how can Rahul Gandhi go to Nepal and appear in a nightclub with a Chinese ambassador who has an anti-India stand? Although the truth is that this claim being made in this context on social media is completely false. The woman with whom Rahul Gandhi is seen in the video is not a Chinese ambassador, but a friend of the friend whom Rahul has reached in Nepal for his wedding.

Nepal’s leading newspaper Kathmandu Post has said in a report that Rahul Gandhi has arrived to be present at the wedding of his journalist friend Sumanina Udas. Sumanina Udas is the daughter of Bhim Udas, who was Nepal’s ambassador to Burma. Sumanina Udas got married on 3rd May and her reception has been kept on 5th May.

Rahul Gandhi came here on May 2 in the evening with five-six friends.
