Pro Kabaddi league Season 8, Gujarat Giants vs UP Yoddha: The 20th match of Pro Kabaddi League season 8 ended in a draw between UP Yoddha and Gujarat Giants at the Sheraton Grand Whitefield in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Gujarat’s dominance was seen in the first half of this match, but in the second half, Pardeep Narwal made the warriors return and in the last the struggle between the two teams ended on equal footing. In this match, Rakesh Narwal scored the highest 13 raid points, while Pardeep completed the Super 10 raid for the warrior. Girish Ernak and Parvesh Bhainswal played an important role in the defense of Gujarat. With this tie, Gujarat Giants has moved to second place with 12 points. On the other hand, UP Yoddha is in 7th place with 10 points.

Giants’ defenders made many excellent tackles

Gujarat Giants won the toss and in the very first raid Pardeep Narwal got two defenders out to give UP two points. Giants’ Rakesh Narwal took two points in the next raid to take Gujarat 4-3. After this, Gujarat Giants put brakes on Pardeep Narwal’s pace and doubled the team’s lead. The pair of Rakesh Kumar and Girish Ernak was constantly taking a toll on the UP warrior and put the Giants 16-9 ahead for 14 minutes. After this Srikanth Jadhav was tackled by Ernak and then Rakesh Narwal dismissed two warriors to take the team 20-10 ahead. After this, UP took two points by super tackle Ashu Singh, then Pardeep won the third consecutive point for the team by taking another point. Warriors made a great comeback in the second half

At the beginning of the second half, Ajay Kumar made the first raid for Gujarat and could not take the points. Barbari’s match ended after a tussle

In the last three minutes, UP Yoddha was trailing 30-31 and Rohit Tomar put the team on par with a successful raid. After this, Surender Gill took one point and brought the score to Barbari. Pardeep Narwal was about to do the last raid and he decided not to take the risk and ended the match in a draw.
