Vigorous demonstration against hijab in Iran, hijab set on fire

While there is a dispute going on in our country regarding the hijab and the matter is going on in the Supreme Court regarding wearing or not wearing it, while in a fanatical Muslim country like Iran, the hijab is being set on fire. The reason for this ongoing demonstration in Iran is a woman who was arrested by the police for not wearing a hijab and she died in the police station itself. She was with her brother in Tehran when she was arrested by the police. Police had accused him of breaking the law, which required women to cover their hair with a hijab or headscarf and their arms and legs with loose clothing.

According to reports, women all over the state burnt their hijabs by lighting bonfires and expressed the happiness of the people. At least seven people are reported to have been killed since protests against hijab laws and ethics police following Mahsa Amini’s death.
