On Vijayadashami, Maryada Purushottam Rama killed Ravana and Mata Durga gave the message of victory of good over evil by killing Mahishasura. There is a law to worship weapons and weapons on the day of Dussehra. It is believed that on Vijayadashami, worship of weapons leads to victory over enemies. Worship like this on Vijayadashami
Worshiping Dussehra in Vijay Muhurta or in the afternoon is considered best. After taking bath in the morning, wear clean clothes and worship Shri Ram, Mata Sita and Hanuman ji.
Sprinkle Gangajal at the place of worship.
Now make the Ashtadal Chakra by applying sandalwood paste. Write Aparajitaya Namah in the middle of the Ashtadal Chakra.
Now place Maa Jaya on the right side and Maa Vijaya on the left.
Invoke the Goddess by reciting the mantras Om Kryashaktyai Namah and Umayai Namah.
Make 10 balls from cow dung and apply barley seeds on top of it.
Now worship Lord Shri Ram by applying incense and lamp and burn these balls.
These 10 balls are the symbol of Ravana. That is why evils are put to an end by burning them.
