Uttarakhand: CM Dhami announced to implement ‘Uniform Civil Code’ as soon as he took power

New Delhi | Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code: After becoming the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand again, Pushkar Singh Dhami, taking a big decision in the state, has announced that Uniform Civil Code will be done in Uttarakhand. In such a situation, now Uttarakhand will be the first state in the country which is going to implement the Uniform Civil Code.

Cabinet agreed
Taking a big step, Uttarakhand’s new CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Thursday that, we have decided to implement Uniform Civil Code in the state. The state cabinet has also agreed for this. Let us inform that CM Dhami, after taking oath on Wednesday, said that his government will fulfill all the resolutions made to the public before the elections, including a major resolution of the Uniform Civil Code.

Team of experts will be formed soon
Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code: CM Dhami said that soon a team of experts will be constituted regarding Uniform Civil Code and Uniform Civil Code will be implemented across the state. It is worth mentioning that during the election campaign, Dhami had promised that soon after his oath of office, a committee consisting of jurists, legal experts and other stakeholders, including people from the intelligentsia of the society, would be constituted, which would be conducted by all the people of the state. Will draft a Uniform Civil Code for the citizens and now Dhami seems to be fulfilling his promise after becoming the CM of Uttarakhand again on Wednesday.
