Uncontrolled school bus overturns, one student dies

Sagar/Bhopal. A school bus overturned uncontrollably in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday morning, in which a student was killed and several students were injured. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Congress State President Kamal Nath have expressed grief over this accident. According to the information received, a school bus carrying children in Rahatgarh police station area overturned uncontrollably near Chandrapur village.

More than 50 school children were traveling in this bus. In this accident ninth class (9th Class) student has died while many children have been injured. The injured have been admitted to the Primary Health Center in Rahatgarh for treatment. Expressing grief over this accident, Chief Minister Chouhan said that his heart is saddened by the news of the death of a child due to the accident of a children’s school bus in Rahatgarh in Sagar district. May God give place to the departed soul at his feet. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured children. My deepest sympathies to the bereaved family members.

He further said that the local administration has made immediate arrangements for the treatment of the injured children. I have given instructions that no stone should be left unturned in the best treatment of children. On the other hand, Congress State President Kamal Nath expressed grief over this accident and said that very sad news has been received about the accident of a school bus in Rahatgarh of Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. I pray to God that all the children be safe. I demand from the government that arrangements should be made for proper treatment of all the injured children. (IANS)
