Unbreakable Records: It is not only difficult but impossible to break these three records of T20 cricket.
Unbreakable Records: The record of making and breaking of records in cricket has always been going on. When it comes to the shortest format of cricket ‘T20 cricket’, then the speed of breaking the old record here becomes even faster. But there are some records in this format of quick cricket, which have been made for a long time and it seems impossible to break them. These are 3 such records.
1. Debut in T20 International at the age of 59
The age of 59 is the age when people stop even walking and spend the night lying on the bed from morning till night. But a Turkish cricketer made his debut at the age of 59 and proved the age to be really a number. Ousmane Gokar made his T20 International debut against Romania on 29 August 2019 at the age of 59 years and 181 days. He scored 1 not out in this match. Gokar is the oldest player ever in T20 International cricket. After this, at number two is also Turkey’s Genghis Akyuz, who made his T20 International debut with the same match at the age of 57.
Test Team of the Year 2021: ICC’s ‘Test Team of the Year’ announced, three Indian players included, Kohli did not get a place
2. Magical Super Over by Sunil Narine
Sunil Narine bowled a magical Super Over in the Caribbean Premier League in the year 2014. Naren had to give less than 12 runs in the super over to win the match for his team. There were batsmen like Ross Taylor and Nicholas Pooran in front of this bowler but Narine did not give a single run in the entire over. He also took a wicket while bowling the maiden over and also won his team. For the last 8 years, such a Super Over has not been seen in T20 cricket and even further its chances seem negligible.
IND vs SA ODI Series: Indian batsmen have scored 9 centuries against the hosts in South Africa, these are our centuries
3. This record of Yuvraj Singh could not be broken for 15 years
In the first T20 World Cup held in 2007, Yuvraj Singh played a brilliant innings against England. He scored 50 runs in just 12 balls by hitting 6 sixes off 6 balls of Stuart Broad. This is the fastest fifty ever in T20 cricket. Even after 15 years, no batsman could break this record. Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle, Marcus Trescothick definitely reached close to this record but could not break it.
