Technology: Humanoid robot addressed the UK Parliament for the first time

The robot had a slight glitch during the address but it was fixed in no time

Tuesday was a special day for the UK Parliament. Actually, for the first time the Parliament was addressed by a humanoid robot. Hearing the robot, all the MPs were excited. The topic of the address was ‘Is Artificial Intelligence (AI) a threat to the creative industry? However, there was a slight glitch in the robot during the address but it was rectified in no time. The robotic i-Dan was created in 2019 by modern and contemporary art expert Aidan Mailer and then acquired by Cornwall-based engineer Ars. The human-like robot addressed the House of Lords and discussed AI’s threat to the creative industry. This robot is the first robot to address the British Parliament.

The role of technology in art making will continue to grow

Robot told Parliament that the role of technology in the production of art would continue to grow. Technology has already had a huge impact on the way we create art. Talking about art, Aida said that art can be made of many things. From painting to drawing or poetry, my art studies include all of the above. Because art is always free. The role of the audience is important.

Using networks to structure poetry

The female robot said that I am using a neutral network to write the poem. It involves analyzing a large collection of texts to identify common content and poetic structures, and then using these structures and materials to generate new poetic uses. How is it different from humans? I don’t have in person testing experience despite being able to do about it.
