Uddhav said, arrest me

Mumbai. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has targeted the BJP and its central government over the raids by central agencies at his relative’s place. The Chief Minister said in the Vidhan Sabha on Friday – If you want to put me in jail, then put me in jail. Family members are harassed. I am afraid it is not so, but you do not want power, so come on, I will come, put me in jail. Significantly, in the past, the Enforcement Directorate i.e. ED had attached some properties of Uddhav Thackeray’s brother-in-law.

Angered by the action of ED and other central agencies, Chief Minister Thackeray said- If you want to come to power, then come to power but don’t do all this mischief for this. Don’t harass us, theirs, anyone else’s family members. We never bothered your family members. He said- It is not that we are saying that your families have done something wrong or they have something about which we can trouble you. Just saying that don’t disturb the family members.

Getting emotional about the action taken by his relatives and close relatives of son Aaditya Thackeray, Uddhav said – if we want to come to power, put us in jail. put me in jail You guys do politics even to investigate against our family. Come forward if you have the courage. He said that even though Indira Gandhi had imposed emergency, it is an undeclared emergency.

Uddhav also attacked the BJP over the ED’s action on his government minister Nawab Malik. In the case of Nawab Malik, he said – I am not afraid of defamation but do not ask for resignation on the basis of baseless allegations. If Nawab Malik is found guilty then do whatever action is to be taken.
