Uddhav and Pawar made a strategy

Mumbai NCP supremo Sharad Pawar met Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday amid increasing number of rebel Shiv Sena MLAs sitting in Guwahati. The two leaders deliberated on the strategy ahead. Significantly, NCP leaders are constantly talking about supporting Shiv Sena. NCP leader and Deputy Chief Minister of the state Ajit Pawar said that the Uddhav government is in majority and can take decisions.

However, an important meeting was held at Uddhav Thackeray’s residence ‘Matoshree’ on Friday. It was attended by NCP chief Sharad Pawar, his nephew and state deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, state government minister Jayant Patil, former Union minister Praful Patel and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut. It is being told that the possibility and technical aspects being considered after the current situation were discussed in the meeting. The role of Speaker and Governor was also discussed in this meeting.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena has sent disqualification letter to four more MLAs of its party to the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. Earlier on Thursday, Shiv Sena had written a letter to disqualify 12 MLAs. In this way, Shiv Sena has so far written a letter to disqualify 16 MLAs. Keep in mind that the Speaker has not been appointed since the resignation of Nana Patole and NCP Deputy Speaker Narhari Jirwal is working as the acting Speaker. It is reported that the legal team of Shiv Sena had also reached the assembly.

On the other hand, two independent MLAs, Mahesh Baldi and Vinod Agarwal, leader of the rebel MLAs Eknath Shinde faction, have given notices for the removal of Deputy Speaker Narhari Jirwal. He has accused Narhari Jirwal of electing Ajay Chaudhary as the leader of Shiv Sena Legislature Party without consulting him. Earlier in the day on Friday, there was news that Ekknath Shinde may come to Mumbai and also hand over the letter of support of the MLAs to Jirwal. They had also left for Mumbai, but after roaming in Guwahati for three hours, returned to the hotel.
