On Saturday, the city of Kota remained closed on the appeal of Sarva Samaj. Here today the traders voluntarily closed their shops and businesses. All trade organizations supported the bandh. The effect of the bandh was seen in the city since morning and there was silence in all the markets of the city. However, people did not face any kind of inconvenience in traffic due to the restrictions of public transport like mini bus, tempo, auto city, city bus etc.

Petrol pumps were kept free from bandh…

Udaipur Massacre : All the more than one hundred petrol pumps in the district including the city were kept free from bandh. But there was no business in Bhamashah Krishi Mandi. All the schools in Kota city, except the schools where the competitive examinations are being held today, including the coaching institutes, remained closed. Tight security arrangements were made by the police during the bandh. Teams of police and RAC personnel were patrolling across the city under the leadership of officers since morning. Vajra vehicles, police personnel were deployed at various intersections of the city.

No news of any untoward incident…

Udaipur Massacre : In view of the bandh, tight security arrangements were made in the sensitive areas inside the park, but no untoward incident has been reported from anywhere. Urban Development Minister Shanti Dhariwal has appealed to religious leaders, social organizations, social workers and public representatives to extend all possible cooperation in maintaining social harmony and peaceful environment.
