Two watches of Hardik Pandya were confiscated by the customs department at the airport, worth Rs 5 crore

Cricketer Hardik Pandya’s 2 watches worth 5 crores have been confiscated by the customs department. Hardik Pandya did not have invoices for this watch, nor did he declare these watches. Team India returned after being out in the ICC tournament. Hardik Pandya along with the team also returned home late on Sunday night. But he was stopped by the customs department and two watches were detained. The cost of the watches was Rs 5 crore.  Hardik Pandya proved to be a flop in the recently completed ICC T20 Cricket World Cup. Hardik Pandya is considered a great all-rounder. But in this tournament he could not perform as expected from him. In the 3 innings of T20 Cricket World Cup 2021, only 69 runs came from Hardik’s bat. Especially in the important match with New Zealand and Pakistan, he lost wickets at a crucial juncture.

Let us tell you that the BCCI had announced a 16-member T20 team for the series against New Zealand. Many such players got a place in the team, who performed with a bang in the IPL. Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah have been rested. On the other hand, Venkatesh Iyer, Harshal Patel and Avesh Khan have been included in the team. Apart from this, Rituraj Gaikwad has also got a place in the team. However, former batsman VVS Laxman says that Venkatesh Iyer can prove to be Hardik Pandya’s backup in the team. He said that Venkatesh Iyer can be groomed as an all-rounder.
