Dantewada. In Dantewada district this morning, the security forces deployed on the Naxal front recovered two pipe bombs weighing 20 kg. The Naxalites had planted it with the intention of harming the soldiers. The bomb has been defused by the BDS team.
According to police officials, two pipe bombs weighing 20 kg were recovered by a team of security forces near Kamarguda village in the district. The team of CRPF, DRG went out on the area domination in the morning. When the jawans were going from Kamarguda camp towards Jagargunda, they got information about the bomb on the side of the road. The soldiers informed the BDS team about the bomb.
The BDS team reached the spot and recovered two pipe bombs and defused them. Police officials said that the operation against Naxalites is going on in the area. Maoists continue to use IEDs instead of face-to-face combat with the force. In Bastar’s Dantewada, Bijapur, Narayanpur, Sukma districts, the soldiers have been continuously neutralizing the bombs planted by the Maoists. talks
