Traumatic accident in Andhra Pradesh, 6 killed, many seriously injured due to boiler explosion in chemical factory

Bengaluru | Andhra Pradesh Chemical Factory Explosion: A terrible accident has happened in Andhra Pradesh. Six people were killed and 12 injured in a boiler explosion at a chemical factory in the state, who are undergoing treatment at the hospital. According to the information, this accident happened in Eluru district of the state late on Wednesday night when nitric acid and mono methyl leaked in the factory and it caught fire.

Andhra Pradesh Chemical Factory Explosion: According to the SP of Eluru, at around 11.30 pm, Porus Lab at Akkireddygudem in the district was making drugs in the factory. During this, due to a technical fault in the boiler, acid leaked and it caught fire. After which there was a loud explosion in the boiler and the fire spread all around. All the people who died are said to be from Bihar. However, this has not been confirmed yet.

Announcement of Rs 25 lakh each to the relatives of the deceased
Confirming the death of 6 people in this accident, the police informed that many people were working in the night shift at the time of the accident in the factory, which came under the fire caused by the blast. 12 people injured in the incident are being treated in the hospital. The condition of several of the injured is said to be serious. Police is engaged in the investigation of the incident. At the same time, the Andhra Pradesh government has expressed grief over this incident and has announced financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh each to the families of the deceased. Whereas, Rs 5 lakh will be given to seriously injured and Rs 2 lakh to those with minor injuries.
