TMC MLA had to threaten BJP leaders costly, Election Commission bans campaigning

Kolkata | West Bengal News: Mamata didi’s party TMC MLA Narendranath Chakraborty has found it costly to threaten BJP leaders not to vote. Taking action against him, the Election Commission has banned campaigning. The Election Commission has banned Narendranath Chakraborty from any public meeting, rally, roadshow or interview in connection with the ongoing by-elections in West Bengal from 10 am to 8 pm today, March 30. Let us tell you that the BJP had complained to the Election Commission on this matter. After which the commission has taken this action.

Threatening video going viral
West Bengal News: Significantly, a video of TMC MLA Narendranath Chakraborty has gone viral in which he is allegedly threatening BJP leaders. In which he can be heard saying that BJP supporters should not come out to vote. If those people vote for BJP then they will be seen. At the same time, he said that those who will not vote for BJP can do job and business by staying in Bengal.

Bengal Police should not wait for Mamata Banerjee’s approval
On the other hand, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Amit Malviya has said on this matter that, not only has the election campaign stopped, the Election Commission has also ordered to register an FIR against TMC MLA Narendra Chakraborty. Therefore, the Bengal Police should follow the instructions of the Election Commission and not wait for the approval of Mamata Banerjee.
