Uddhav’s request to the rebels

Mumbai Party chief and state Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray broke his silence 36 hours after the Shiv Sena revolted. He addressed the rebel MLAs of his party and the people of the state through Facebook Live. Uddhav made an emotional appeal to the rebel MLAs from the party and requested them to return. Uddhav also promised him that Shiv Sena would never give up Hindutva. The Chief Minister said that if any rebel MLAs come and ask them, they are ready to step down. He said that he is not a leader sitting on a chair.

It is worth noting that about 35 MLAs have revolted along with senior Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde. All the MLAs are under the supervision of BJP in Assam. The Maha Vikas Aghadi government in the state is in trouble due to the rebellion of the MLAs. However, in his Facebook address on Wednesday afternoon, Uddhav said – I am keeping my resignation ready. Come and tell me if you want me to step down. I am not one to sit on a chair.

Uddhav Thackeray said- Even when the government was formed, Pawar saheb told me that I want you to run the government. Pawar has also reposed faith in me but if my people are not able to trust me then what am I? Addressing the rebel MLAs, he said – It was better than going to Surat and talking elsewhere, that he would have come and talked to me and told me that if you do not remain the Chief Minister, I would have understood it better. He said- If even a single MLA says that Uddhav Thackeray should not remain the Chief Minister, then I will resign today. I am not a person to sit on a chair but to say that this is not our Shiv Sena is wrong.

The Chief Minister stressed that Shiv Sena will never give up on Hindutva. He said- Hindutva is our identity. I am the first CM who talks on Hindutva. Clarifying on the allegations of the MLAs, he said – I was accused of not meeting people, party people, as far as not meeting people is concerned, the reason for this was that I was unwell and due to this I could not meet people. Had been. It is not that the administrative work was not being done when I was not healthy, it was going on.

Responding to the allegations of the rebel MLAs, Uddhav said- People say that this is not Balasaheb’s Shiv Sena, I ask what is the difference? It is still the same Shiv Sena as before. Getting emotional, Uddhav said- I will fulfill the promise I made to the Shiv Sena chief that the Chief Minister will be of Shiv Sena. He said- Sharad Pawar also trusted me but what should I do when my people are not trusting me. I still consider them mine.
