Three more women PAC battalions in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow. The process of raising three more women PAC battalions has been started in Uttar Pradesh. Under this, land has been identified for women PAC battalions in Jalaun, Balrampur and Mizarpur. The report of which has been proposed and sent to the Police Headquarters.

The process of land acquisition will be started as soon as the green signal is received from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. It is to be known that even before this, the Yogi government had announced three women PAC battalions to provide a safe environment to the daughters and women of the state and to make them self-reliant. After allotment of land for this, construction work is going on. Along with this, posts have also been sanctioned for the battalion. The recruitment process will start soon.

ADG PAC KS Pratap Singh said that Chief Minister Yogi had ordered the establishment of three more women PAC battalions in the state. Under this, orders were given for establishment of women PAC battalion in one district out of Jhansi and Jalaun, Balrampur and Mijarpur and one district out of Bhadohi. In such a situation, 17.150 hectare land of village society has been identified under village Air police station Dakor of Orai tehsil of Jalaun. The name of this women’s PAC battalion will be kept as Rani Lakshmi. It has been sent to the Police Headquarters after making a proposal. Similarly, 20,381 hectares of land has been identified in village Gidhraiya, Tehsil Balrampur Sadar in Balrampur.

ADG PAC informed that 26.225 hectares of land has been identified in village Deori Kalan, Tehsil Madian of Mijarpur for establishment of women PAC battalion in one district out of Mizarpur and Bhadohi. ,IANS)
