According to the information, this family is originally from Sangli district of Maharashtra and was living in Dubai these days. The family, who went to visit Oman, consisted of 42-year-old Shashikant Mahamane, his wife and children, 9-year-old Shreya and 6-year-old Shreyas. Shashikant Mahamane and his son drowned on the banks of a beach in Oman, while the daughter is still missing. The video of this incident has surfaced. It can be clearly seen in this video, Shreya and Shreyas are playing in the water for their own fun and just then a strong wave came with a strong current and carried away both the children. Shashikant also drowned while saving his children. The bodies of Shashikant and his son have been pulled out of the water, but their daughter’s whereabouts are not known. The search for the daughter is on. The Royal Oman Police is investigating the matter.
