This Tata company will ring in foreign countries, will open stores in Gulf countries and America
Titan, a Tata group company, one of Bharti’s most prominent industrial houses, is now working on plans to expand in India as well as worldwide. Tanishq is going to expand its jewelery brand Tanishq in the Gulf and North America markets in the next 2-3 years. Tanishq is working on a plan to open around 20-30 stores in these countries. The company’s managing director CK Venkataraman gave this information on Thursday.
Company’s focus on NRIs
The company is targeting expatriates widely spread in the region. The company will open its first Tanishq store in the US in September. The company plans to have more stores in the North American market and the West Asia region. Venkataraman said Titan is “positive” about the upcoming festive season for the domestic market. The company expects consolidated sales growth of 15 to 20 per cent this year.
Bumper sales forecast for the festive season
Venkataraman told that now everyone is more confident about life. He said that if we look at the data for the last two years, Indian households have saved a lot due to not spending money during the pandemic. He said that people have cash at the moment and the festive season will give them opportunities to spend.
Stores Open in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Asked about overseas expansion, Venkataraman said Titan has already opened a few stores in the Gulf region like Dubai and is setting up a store in Abu Dhabi. When asked about the numbers, he said in the next two-three years we will have 20 to 30 stores in the Bay Area and North America.
