This share doubled shareholders’ money in 2021, reached all-time high today

Multibagger Stock: The year 2021 has seen a large number of multibagger stocks. Shares of TCI Express Limited (TCIE) have doubled investors’ money in 2021 so far. In comparison, the Nifty 50 index has gained over 30 per cent and the S&P BSE Sensex index has gained over 28 per cent.

This multibagger stock has increased from Rs 942.65 to Rs 1,900. It has gained 101.5 per cent since the beginning of this year and has gained 135 per cent in the last one year. The stock rose 17 per cent to an all-time high of Rs 1,900 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday (October 26). The market cap of the firm increased to Rs 6966.6 crore. The stock is trading above the 5 day, 20 day, 50 day, 100 day and 200 day moving averages.

For the quarter ended September 2021, the company reported a standalone profit of Rs 34 crore as compared to profit of Rs 23 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue from operations grew 28 per cent to Rs 273 crore for the quarter ended September, from Rs 212.95 crore a year ago.

Motilal Oswal believes that TCIE is well positioned to capitalize on the growth opportunities in the express industry. With TCIE improving efficiencies on the back of its investments in volume pick-up and sorting centers and automation, we expect the EBITDA margin in FY24E to increase from ~16% in FY21 to ~19%, resulting in EBITDA CAGR will be 26% over FY21-24E.
