This is the price of Hardik Pandya’s watch seized at the airport, the all-rounder himself revealed
Hardik Pandya Clarification on Seized Watch: Team India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya is very fond of watches. He has a watch worth crores. While returning from Dubai, this watch has become a problem for him. There were reports that the customs department seized two watches worth Rs 5 crore at the Mumbai airport. It was told that Hardik Pandya did not have invoices for these watches nor did he declare the watches.
Now Hardik Pandya himself has issued a statement on this whole matter. He has given the price of the watch. He said that only one watch worth Rs 1.5 crore was taken by the customs department for proper appraisal. News agency ANI had reported that on Sunday, the customs department confiscated two watches from Hardik Pandya as they did not have his bills.
Hardik refutes the allegations
Hardik Pandya refuted these allegations and said that I had gone to the customs counter of Mumbai airport to declare the goods and pay the required customs duty. There are misconceptions on social media about my declaration about customs at the airport, and I want to clarify what happened.
Hardik further said that the price of the watch is around Rs 1.5 crore and not Rs 5 crore. I am a law abiding citizen of the country and respect all government agencies. I have got full cooperation from the customs department of Mumbai and I have assured them of my full cooperation. Hardik said that he will provide whatever valid documents he needs to clear this matter. All allegations of crossing the legal limit against me are completely baseless.
