Share Market News: Well-known investors on Dalal Street have been buying heavily in the September quarter as the stock market strengthened during this period. The names of these veteran investors include Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Doli Khanna, Ashish Kacholia and Mukul Agarwal. Know on which shares he has bet :-

Veteran investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala added banks, metal and real estate companies to his portfolio while increasing his 0.1% stake in his favorite Titan Company.

Jhunjhunwala’s name appeared among the public shareholders of Canara Bank, NALCO and Indiabulls Real Estate, where he held 1.1-1.6% at the end of September quarter. Let an investor’s name appear in the list of public shareholders if the holding is 1% or more. However, it could not be ascertained whether the entire stake was bought in the September quarter itself or if he had less than 1% stake before that which was increased. Jhunjhunwala has reduced stake in Mandhana Retail by 5.35% to 7.4%.

At the same time, the name of Chennai’s veteran investor Dolly Khanna appeared with a 1.1% stake in the public shareholders of NDTV. On the other hand, Ashish Kacholia, a well-known investor of buying mid and small cap stocks, included Textile Manufacturer Phase 3 in his portfolio. His new holding includes Phase Three as well as Xpro India. His stake in Phase III is 2.8 per cent and in Xpro India is 2.5 per cent.

Investor Mukul Agarwal made the most purchases during this period. His name appeared in the public shareholders list of Paras Defence, MTAR Technologies, Vidhi Specialty Food, Thomas Cook, Allcargo Logistics, Jet Freight Logistics, Radico Khaitan, Jota Healthcare, Goldium International. He holds 1.1-6.5 per cent stake in these companies.
