Sukesh Chandrashekhar money laundering case: Delhi Police defers questioning of Jacqueline Fernandez

In a fresh development, the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police has deferred the questioning of Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar. A senior police officer said that the actress had requested the police to postpone the interrogation which was to be held on Monday. After considering their request, the EOW canceled the inquiry.
Now after fixing the next date of questioning, the EOW will issue a fresh summon to him. “He had written us an email in this regard. He had requested to postpone the inquiry in the email,” the official said.
Earlier in the first week of September, EOW officials had recorded the testimony of another Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi in the case. Chandrashekhar was arrested for allegedly cheating and extortion from some high-profile people including Aditi Singh, wife of Shivinder Mohan Singh, former promoter of Fortis Healthcare.
The Enforcement Directorate has questioned several Bollywood celebrities and models for their alleged links with Chandrashekhar.
