Maximum increase can be up to Rs 20,000
It is worth mentioning that, according to the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, the government calculates DA on the basic salary. At present, government employees are getting 31 percent Dearness Allowance (DA). If there is a further increase of 3 percent, then it is possible to increase the salary of government employees up to a maximum of Rs 20,000 and a minimum of Rs 6480. Let us tell you that in July 2021 last year, the Modi government had increased the dearness allowance from 17 per cent to 28 per cent.
