Bundi. Describing the Gujarat assembly election results as having no impact on party leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that many of the shortcomings of our organization lie with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as well as the AIMIM and the Aam Aadmi Party. Due to competition and misuse of central institutions, Congress has got disappointing results, which will be reviewed and necessary action will be taken.

Ramesh was addressing the press conference during the break of Bharat Jodo Yatra this afternoon. He said that there were many shortcomings in the Congress organization in the Gujarat elections and we are a little disappointed with the Gujarat results. We have to review and whatever actions have to be taken will also be done.

He said the Congress’s fight in Gujarat with the BJP as well as its informal alliance partners AIMIM and Aam Aadmi Party was the biggest problem.

He said that central institutions were misused along with the shortcomings of the organization. The administration was also misused. The Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister stayed in Gujarat for several days.

Apart from this, conducting separate elections in the states of Himachal and Gujarat was also a reason. He said that the Congress will review the election result. Describing the Gujarat results as disappointing for the Congress, he said that in the year 2017, the party tried hard and the BJP did not get 100 seats and the difference between the number of seats between the Congress and the BJP was 24-25.

But this election result has given us a big shock. Ramesh said that local Congress leaders in Gujarat need to unite and we will review and talks will also take place. Referring to the Himachal Pradesh election result, he said that the Himachal Pradesh election is like a booster dose for the Congress.

He said that the exit polls were not giving us that many seats and some exit polls were giving them a neck and neck fight, but contrary to the results, we have got a clear majority. He told that the Legislature Party meeting has been held in Himachal and the resolution for the Chief Minister has been passed and the name of the Chief Minister will be announced today or tomorrow.

He said that the Gujarat election results have no impact on the Bharat Jodo Yatra, as this yatra is not an election-winning yatra. Ten-eleven days are left for the yatra in Rajasthan and after this it will also go to Haryana, Delhi and Punjab, the enthusiasm has not diminished, the enthusiasm is the same as it was before the results.

Although he is a little disappointed with Gujarat, because there were shortcomings in our organization. He said that there were also reports that it would have been better if Rahul Gandhi had gone to Gujarat, but he also went to Ahmedabad in the middle of the journey. But the priority was travel.

There are ups and downs in elections. So it will not affect his travel. He said that we are all united to make the yatra a success and the way it is being welcomed, it seems that the yatra has received strong support even in the Kota area, which is considered a stronghold of the BJP. Is.

He said that Congress leaders and workers are involved in making the yatra a success. He said that earlier the Saturday day of the yatra was kept only for women but it was amended and now on December 12, the yatra was kept only for women in which women would walk.
