Then Kejriwal in the old style!

Arvind Kejriwal once staged a road dharna in front of Rail Bhawan in Lutyens’ Delhi. He had been on a dharna in front of Rail Bhavan with his party leaders at night during the cold weather. Then he called himself an anarchist. However, later his attitude changed after contesting elections, winning and forming the government in Delhi. He had stopped calling himself an anarchist and started talking about the system of the constitution. Now again they have descended on the chaos. Not only is she making statements indiscriminately, at the same time she and other leaders of her party have also started ignoring the Constitution and the traditions of democratic politics.

Recently, there have been two incidents in which he and his party insulted the President by not following the protocol attached to him. As per tradition, on October 2, on Gandhi Jayanti, the Chief Minister and Lieutenant Governor of Delhi are present and welcome the President. This time Kejriwal was absent from the program. His Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia did arrive but he also did not stop to welcome the President. When the Lieutenant Governor wrote a letter about this, Kejriwal did not feel the need to reply to it.

The second incident is from Chandigarh, where President Draupadi Murmu had arrived to take part in the parade on the occasion of Air Force Day. The President was to be welcomed before the Air Force parade, for which Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was invited from the Raj Bhavan. He also accepted the invitation but he did not come to attend the President’s felicitation ceremony. Instead he went to Gujarat to campaign for his party. On October 2, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Kejriwal had gone to Gujarat for campaigning. The kind of language Kejriwal is using for the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi and his opposition parties is also no less objectionable.
