Meerut News: On Friday, once again no active case of corona has been found in Meerut. Two patients were undergoing treatment at home. He too recovered on Friday. So far 70,111 people have been infected with corona in the district. About 1.3 percent of the total patients died.

According to CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan, today not a single patient has been found corona infected in the investigation report of 4267 samples. Two patients were undergoing treatment at home. Both of them also got healthy today. Thus now there is not even a single case of corona in Meerut. Let us inform that earlier Meerut was corona free on 29 October, but then after 24 hours 7 new cases of corona were found in Meerut.

Health department breathed a sigh of relief

However, once again after about 2 years, Meerut became free from corona infection. Along with the administration, the Health Department has also breathed a sigh of relief. On 27 March 2020, the first corona patient was found in Meerut. This person was a crockery businessman resident of Khurja in Bulandshahr, who had come to his in-laws house in Meerut by train from Amravati in Maharashtra. The first death from corona in Meerut occurred on 31 March 2020, the father-in-law of the first patient who died. Later 24 people came in contact with this family. Since then, except on 29 October in Meerut, the chain of corona infection has never been broken again.

Dengue also became sluggish

After Corona in Meerut, Dengue in Meerut has also become sluggish now. According to CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan, today only two dengue cases have been found in Meerut. He informed that there are total 66 active cases of Dengue in Meerut. Of these, 54 are undergoing treatment at home while 12 patients are admitted in the hospital.
