India vs New Zealand 2nd T20: Heavy dew is expected to fall during the second T20 match between India and New Zealand at the JSCA International Stadium. Jharkhand Pradesh Cricket Association secretary Sanjay Sahai said that they expect the stadium to be full once the state government allows 100 per cent spectators to enter.

According to the notification of the state government, people who have taken both the doses of corona vaccine or those who show negative report of RT PCR will get entry into the stadium. Sahai said, “The state government has given permission for 100 per cent attendance and we are hopeful that after a long time in India, the stadium will be full. Food items will also be available in the galleries. Things are getting back to normal.”

He further said, ‘People are tired of the lockdown for two years and there is a lot of excitement about this match. Once again people will be seen on the streets. However, he said that the corona protocol will be fully followed. There will be place-to-place testing and visitors will have to show certificates of both the vaccines or negative RT-PCR reports within 48 hours.

Tickets for the stadium with a capacity of around 39000 are between Rs 900 and Rs 9000 and have been sold online. “We have 80 tickets left which are for emergency quota. They will not be sold,” Sahai said.

Ranchi’s Dulquer and former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is also in the city, but it is not yet decided whether he will come to watch the match. Sahai said, “Dhoni is here and today he played tennis on the court. We cannot say whether he will come to watch the match or not.”

Meanwhile, Chief Curator Shyam Bahadur Singh said that there is a possibility of a lot of dew falling after 7.30 pm, due to which the role of the toss will be important. It is generally a helpful wicket for the batsmen, which was last used for the Jharkhand State T20 tournament in July.
