Dhamsan is going on in Maharashtra, West Bengal and Jharkhand are also on target. West Bengal, Jharkhand’s fight is for power but Maharashtra’s fight is being fought not for power, not even for Hindutva but for vengeance. Despite this, no Mai Ka Lal is seen with the stamina to compete with the rulers of Delhi under the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji, Bajirao Peshwa. Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray is fighting alone like Abhimanyu. Government repression is at its peak. The recent decisions of the Supreme Court have raised the spirits. Enforcement Directorate (ED), Income Tax Department (Income Tax), Central Intelligence Department (CBI) etc. All agencies are after the opposition leaders. It means only one thing and that is that the BJP wants to completely destroy its opponents before the general election because the ruling party is not fully confident of its victory despite everything.
Earlier in Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh the objective was clear. Break the Congress, take their MLAs’ resignations and make them contest elections on BJP ticket and get power by winning them. BJP was successful in that but in Maharashtra it is not understanding such a matter. The BJP does not want to bear the burden of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and the rebel Shiv Sena MLAs for long as some of them are under investigation for financial scams. Eknath Shinde and his rebel MLAs are asset or liability, it is not fully understood by the BJP command and on the other hand how much the BJP cadre will accept them, that is also a big question.
Shiv Sena is untouchable in politics and no one can become their partner except us, it will be said, such was the concept among top BJP leaders. It ended after the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections. Shiv Sena, Congress, Nationalist Congress united against BJP. His Maha Vikas Aghadi government was formed. The Aghadi government lasted two and a half years. This was not only history but the biggest setback to BJP, Narendra Modi, Amit Shah. Then it was decided to end Shiv Sena. Power will come and go but we and only we will remain the contractors of Hindutva, this is the core point behind eliminating Shiv Sena.
Mahavikas Aghadi was getting stronger due to Uddhav Thackeray’s sharp attacks, Sanjay Raut’s open attack, Sharad Pawar’s strategy and Sonia Gandhi’s support. Devendra Fadnavis does not have the ability to break it and if the government of Uddhav Thackeray lasts for some more time, then the mathematics of the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024 will be spoiled. Then the BJP high command became active after knowing that its effect could be in Goa, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh. And “Operation Kamal” reached its end.
Now Uddhav Thackeray is caught in a court battle, election commission battle. Apart from Aditya Thackeray, he does not have a leader traveling all over Maharashtra. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is dependent on Amit Shah. Eknath Shinde visits Delhi at least 2-3 times every week. Narendra Modi – Amit Shah is now his high command too. For a month, the cabinet of two ministers, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, is running the government in Maharashtra.
What will happen in Maharashtra now? According to a BJP MP, elections will be held. This means Eknath Shinde does not intend to run the government till 2024. Elections may be held with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, or with elections to the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, or in Maharashtra next year. If given more time, Uddhav Thackeray will recover and he will emerge as an alternative in alliance with Nationalist Congress Party, Congress. Because the coming election will be like a fight for survival for them. There is a thinking in the BJP that right now the situation is in our favor, the vote bank of the opposition parties is breaking. We do not have to strengthen Eknath Shinde, Raj Thakre under any circumstances… such arguments are being given.
It seems that the western regions of India, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Hindi-speaking Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand, and Karnataka and Telangana in the south, will be together in the year 2024. Will become prime minister for the third time. Politics is being done under this thinking and plan. Making Uddhav Thackeray and Shiv Sena breathless is an important aspect of this.
Under this plan, after Congress-free India, now the BJP has waged a war against the familyism of regional parties. Elections in India are based on caste equation, religious polarization. The BJP knows that elections can be fought on economic issues, inflation, unemployment but they are not won.
